DC For Accelerating Anti-dengue Surveillance

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2025) A meeting of the district emergency response committee for dengue

was held here on Tuesday with Deputy Commissioner Capt (R)

Nadeem Nasir in the chair.

Additional Deputy Commissioner General Cap (R) Tayyab Sami,

Assistant Commissioners, Health Department and other officers

attended the meeting.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the anti-dengue teams to focus

on surveillance during the monsoon season. The risk of dengue

outbreak increases in rainy season and low temperature so the

health officers were being directed to accelerate the anti-dengue

activities in the district.

He directed the Assistant Commissioners to keep an eye on the

performance of dengue.

He also directed the district departments including PHA, WASA

to formulate a joint strategy and ensure 100 percent dengue larvae

sweeping.

He further directed the departments to resolve public complaints

immediately.
