
DC Orders Immediate Redress Of Public Grievances

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jul, 2025) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir has directed the heads of government departments to take appropriate measures to redress public grievances.
Addressing an open court (Khuli Katchery) in his office here on Monday, he said that the district administration is committed to provide best service to the masses by resolving their genuine issues on priority basis.
In this connection, he said that he had adopted an open door policy and the people could contact him without any hurdle.
He said that serving the people is a top priority of the Punjab government and all officers have been directed to ensure swift and effective redressal of public complaints.
He said that the open door policy would help in reducing gap between the public and the administration by providing direct access and prompt relief to the citizens.
A large number of citizens presented their complaints during open court while the Deputy Commissioner attentively heard each complaint and issued on-the-spot orders to the concerned departmental officers for immediate resolution.He also warned the officials against negligence or delay in dealing with public concerns. He made it clear that such behavior would not be tolerated.
He said that the local administration is determined to make Faisalabad a cleaner, safer and more developed city by utilizing all available resources.
He also reiterated his resolve to continue such engagements regularly to promote better governance and public satisfaction. The citizens appreciated the initiative and called the open door policy a welcome step that not only resolves their problems but also helps rebuild trust between the people and the government.
