Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal on Monday said that Pakistan has successfully recovered from the severe economic crisis inherited from the PTI government

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jul, 2025) Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal on Monday said that Pakistan has successfully recovered from the severe economic crisis inherited from the PTI government.

Talking to a private news channel, he said that the government successfully steered the country out of economic, diplomatic, and political turmoil.

He said that the economy has now taken flight, calling the recovery a "mini-miracle" acknowledged by the international community.

“We’ve controlled deficits and curbed inflation in a very short period,” he stated.

Highlighting diplomatic achievements, the minister said Pakistan has regained global relevance due to successful diplomatic efforts.

He criticized PTI’s protest call, saying it was a disruptive attempt at a time when the country is stabilizing.

“Their politics revolves around vulgar slogans, sit-ins, and baseless accusations, with no focus on development,” he said.

He said that PTI protest was untimely and unjustified, and will not gain public support.
