DPO Mansehra Takes Swift Action On Disabled Nan’s Assaulted Over Petrol Dispute In Naran,

MANSEHRA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jul, 2025) District Police Officer (DPO) Mansehra, Shafiullah Gandapur, has taken prompt notice of a viral video circulating on social media showing the abuse of a disabled man within the jurisdiction of Naran Police Station. The suspect has been arrested, and a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered.

According to details, a video featuring a local resident, Imad, son of Mehmood, hailing from Hangrai, emerged on social media platforms. In his official complaint, Imad stated that he earns a livelihood as a motorcycle-based laborer. On the day of the incident, while transporting passengers, he stopped at a fuel station to refuel his motorcycle.

He alleged that the petrol station attendant dispensed more fuel than he had requested. When he informed the attendant that he could not pay for the excess amount and asked for it to be removed, the accused, identified as Saeed Jan, son of Ameen Gul, allegedly assaulted him physically and issued threats to his life.

Upon learning of the incident, DPO Shafiullah Gandapur instructed DSP Paras, Sadaqat Nisar, to ensure immediate action. Acting swiftly, the local police arrested the suspect and registered a case against him at Naran Police Station. Police have assured that justice will be served and such incidents will not be tolerated.
