This view was expressed by Sheikh Amir Waheed, a business thought leader and former president of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, during the latest session of the Freedom Gate Dialogues held at Freedom Gate Prosperity head office in Islamabad.

The dialogue was attended by industry experts, members of academia and students eager to learn about entrepreneurship, market realities and the evolving business environment in Pakistan.

Responding to a wide range of questions from the host of the session, Shafqat Aziz Mallick, Sheikh Waheed said the country’s economic potential depended on ensuring genuine ease of doing business.

The discussion also highlighted the need for a simplified and equitable taxation system for all stakeholders.

Speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Anwar, Chief Executive Officer of Freedom Gate Prosperity, reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to inclusive economic progress.

He said FGP consistently encouraged youth and women to come forward by equipping them with strategic narratives and platforms to actively participate in shaping Pakistan’s policy landscape.
