MOSCOW, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) The Embassy of Pakistan in Moscow on Thursday held a ceremony to mark the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq (The Battle of Truth) as a symbol of Pakistan’s unity, resilience, and commitment to regional stability.

Addressing the gathering, the Ambassador of Pakistan to the Russian Federation, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, described Pakistan’s response during Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos to Indian aggression one year ago as measured, lawful, and in line with international law.

The Ambassador further highlighted the effective coordination among the political and military leadership through public support and unwavering resolve of the Pakistan Armed Forces to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The ceremony also featured addresses from the members of the Pakistani diaspora residing in Russia, who gathered to express a collective message of national unity. Participants articulated a shared sense of solidarity, emphasizing their profound appreciation for the Civil Leadership and Pakistan Armed Forces and the role of diplomacy in maintaining commitment to peace and security in the region.

Furthermore, the attendees reaffirmed their unwavering confidence in the leadership of Pakistan, underscoring the diaspora’s commitment to the nation’s continued progress and prosperity.

To close the ceremony, guests were shown a documentary that chronicled the events of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos.
