Federal Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal Inaugurates Iqra University Hyderabad Campus

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Oct, 2025) Federal Minister of Health Services and Regulations Syed Mustafa Kamal has said that education is a need of every society and nation.

Good character, along with education, could bring positive change in society, he expressed these views in the Inauguration of Iqra University Campus in Hyderabad here on Sunday.

Speaking at the ceremony, Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal said that educational facilities in Hyderabad are less than the current situation, so it was better to avail such opportunities in Hyderabad.

A large number of students go to Karachi and other areas to study, but I am grateful to Chairman Lakhani Group for establishing the Hyderabad campus of his educational institution Iqra University, feeling the pain of Hyderabad, and I am sure that with the establishment of this institution, the students of Hyderabad will get good and quality education and inauguration of this university is a very encouraging

An ignorant person causes less harm in society, but if a bad character man is educated, it is more dangerous.

He said that the tragedy of this society is that educated people are involved in corruption and white-collar crimes.

Just giving degrees is not the issue. Society is not built just by giving education. People say that character is a personal issue, but when the same people marry a girl, they find out her lineage. When it comes to the extradition of 240 million people, they say that character is a personal issue.

I request the university teachers to focus on character building of the students along with education so that honesty along with ability, could be enriched in the society.

The Chancellor and Hyderabad Campus Director also addressed the gathering and introduced the university and explaining the aims and objectives of its establishment.

In addition to the special guest, senior leader MQM Anis Ahmed Qaimkhani, Haqparast members of the National Assembly, Professor Engineer Abdul Aleem Khanzada, Syed Hafeezuddin, Hassan Sabir Advocate, and members of the Sindh Assembly, Najam Mirza, Farhan Ansari, Faheem Patni, Shariq Jamal, Syed Usman, and Arsalan Pervaiz, were present.

The inauguration ceremony was also attended by representatives of the education sector, business and social figures.
