Fixed Sugar Price Implemented In Murree

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2025) Following the government directives, Deputy Commissioner Murree Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi has ordered the concerned officials to fix the sugar price in Murree district at Rs. 173.0 per Kg.

A notification to this effect has been issued here Tuesday.

The directive mandates strict enforcement of the new price, with Price Control Magistrates instructed to ensure compliance across all markets and shops. "Violators charging above the set rate will face stringent legal action", said the deputy commissioner. According to the details, the magistrates under the said directives are actively overseeing the implementation of the official price list.

The general public has also been urged to report any instances of overcharging or non-compliance to the district administration immediately
