Girls secure top positions as BISE DIKhan declares SSC results

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Dera Ismail Khan on Wednesday announced the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Annual Examination Results 2025, with female students securing top positions in both Science and Arts groups

Dera Ismail Khan, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Jul, 2025) The board of Intermediate and Secondary education (BISE) Dera Ismail Khan on Wednesday announced the Secondary school Certificate (SSC) Annual Examination Results 2025, with female students securing top positions in both Science and Arts groups.

While announcing the results, Controller of Examinations Dr. Qaiser Anwar said that Mishaal Khan of Dar-e-Arqam Model School Dera Ismail Khan clinched the first position by securing 1171 marks, followed by Aaila Zainab of Qurtuba Public School with 1161 marks, and Rustam Wazir of Cadet College Wana, who stood third with 1160 marks in the Science Group.

In the Arts Group, Aaila Noor of Government Girls High School Amakhel, Tank secured the first position with 1084 marks. Maryam of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Paharpur claimed the second position with 1083 marks, while her schoolmate Romana Gul bagged the third position with 1045 marks.

A total of 23,845 students appeared in the SSC (Class 10) examination, out of which 21,525 passed, yielding a pass percentage of 90.27%.

In the Science Group alone, 17,286 candidates appeared and 16,154 were declared successful, recording a pass percentage of 93.45%. Meanwhile, in the Arts Group, 6,559 students took the exams, with 5,371 passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 81.89%.

For the Class 9 examination, a total of 25,701 candidates appeared, with 20,092 passing — making the overall success rate 78.18%. In the Science Group, 18,929 students appeared and 15,502 were successful, achieving a pass percentage of 81.9%. In the Arts Group, 6,772 candidates appeared for the exam, out of which 4,590 passed, with a pass percentage of 67.78%.
