Rupee Gains 08 Paisa Against US Dollar

The Rupee on Thursday appreciated by 08 paisa against the US Dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs 282.87 against the previous day’s closing Rs 282.95

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Jul, 2025) The Rupee on Thursday appreciated by 08 paisa against the US Dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs 282.87 against the previous day’s closing Rs 282.95.

However, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs 285.1 and Rs 285.6, respectively.

The price of the Euro decreased by Rs 3.27 to close at Rs 323.

73 against the last day’s closing of Rs 327.00, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The Japanese yen came down by 02 paisa and closed at Rs 1.89, whereas a decrease of Rs 3.46 was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which was traded at Rs 374.73 compared to the previous day's closing of Rs 378.19.

The exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal came down by 02 paisa each to close at Rs 77.01 and Rs 75.40, respectively.
