KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jul, 2025) Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori visited the residence of renowned Qawwal Ahmed, who was martyred in the recent Quetta bus tragedy, to offer condolences and express solidarity with the grieving family.
During the visit, the Governor met with the bereaved family members and shared their sorrow, describing the incident as a tragedy beyond words, said a news release on Thursday.
"This is a tragedy beyond words, no amount of condemnation is enough. We stand with this family in their sorrow; they are one of our own," Kamran Tessori said.
Speaking to the media, Governor Sindh also voiced serious concern over the ongoing unannounced power outages in Karachi.
Highlighting the insensitivity of the situation, he remarked, "Where three funerals are being brought in, electricity is unavailable. K-Electric must wake up to this reality."
He strongly condemned the Quetta attack, calling it a cowardly act of terrorism aimed at destabilizing the country. "Those behind these attacks are mere tools of the ‘Fitna-e-Hindustan,’” the Governor said, pointing to what he termed a broader conspiracy against Pakistan.
Reaffirming the government’s resolve, Kamran Tessori assured that the blood of the martyred Qawwal would not go in vain. He said the country’s security forces are giving a firm and effective response to such attacks and will ensure justice is delivered.
