ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Jul, 2025) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Wednesday criticized the PTI-led provincial government for its failure to maintain law and order, particularly in terrorism-affected districts like Bajaur, Waziristan, and Kurram.

Talking to a private news channel, he said PTI leadership had handed over the province to terrorists and lacked seriousness in tackling militancy.

He questioned the role of the Chief Minister, saying even his own district is out of control and cannot be presented as a model for peace.

He also slammed the government’s excuse of not being “taken into confidence” before operations, stating that law enforcement and intelligence-based actions cannot wait for political approval.

He further warned against harboring elements hostile to the state and said the army and police must act decisively to restore peace across the province.
