A laborer's son from Pindigheb, Attock, has made his family proud by clinching first position in the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education's intermediate examination

ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Oct, 2025) A laborer's son from Pindigheb, Attock, has made his family proud by clinching first position in the Rawalpindi board of Intermediate and Secondary Education's intermediate examination. The Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan presented him with a cheque of Rs. 200,000 and an honorary shield in recognition of his outstanding achievement in the Annual Award Distribution Ceremony of Intermediate (ICS) 2025 at a private college in Pindigheb, Attock on Thursday where he attended the event as a chief guest.

On this occasion, the Governor praised the student's remarkable performance, highlighting that achieving such success with limited resources is truly commendable.

He emphasized that the student's accomplishment is a matter of great pride for the region, showcasing the exceptional talent of Pindigheb's youth.

During the ceremony, in his address, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan reaffirmed his commitment to education, pledging to support talented students financially. He announced that no student from the area would be forced to abandon their studies due to financial constraints. The Governor stressed the need for greater investment in education, particularly in remote and underdeveloped regions.

Teachers, parents and people from different walks of life also attended the ceremony on this occasion.
