Man Held With 10.5kg Drugs

LODHRAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2025) Sadar police arrested a drug peddler and recovered over ten kilograms of hashish from his possession.

According to a police spokesperson, the operation was carried out on the special directions of acting District Police Officer (DPO) Akram Khan Niazi.

A Sadar police team, led by SHO Imran Gujjar, on a tip off, raided and apprehended the suspect, identified as Muhammad Waryam and recovered 10.52kg hashish and Rs7,000 in cash from his possession. Raids are underway to arrest other members of the gang.

Speaking on the occasion, the DPO hailed the police team and ordered expediting the targeted operation against drug peddlers. He said that drug peddlers were involved in destroying the future of the young generation and didn't deserve any leniency.
