Pakistan Railways To Celebrate May 10 As Marka-e-Haq Victory Day

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) The Pakistan Railways will celebrate May 10 as the Marka-e-Haq victory day with great national spirit and enthusiasm across the country.

Various ceremonies and special events will be organised at Pakistan Railways Headquarters as well as in all railway divisions to mark the occasion.

Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi announced this in a statement issued here on Friday. He said that a heartfelt tribute would be paid to the leadership of the Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their services and prudent leadership. He stated that their visionary leadership has earned Pakistan respect and dignity at the international level.

The Railways Minister said that the bravery and sacrifices of the soldiers of the Pakistan Army who participated in Marka-e-Haq would be remembered in golden words in history. He added that the nation takes pride in the courage and commitment demonstrated by the armed forces.

As part of the celebrations, the Green Line train has already been launched with special “Marka-e-Haq” branding, while 40 major railway stations across the country will also be decorated with special branding to highlight the significance of the day.
