Minister Stresses Unity In Conflicts As Key To Victory, Lauds Public For Embracing ‘oneness’ During ‘Marka-e-Haq’

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal praised Pakistan forces for defeating a country six times larger than it during Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, emphasizing that the operation not only highlighted the operational readiness of Pakistan’s armed forces but also demonstrated the collective spirit of the nation during the critical time.

"Those six days united people under one umbrella, overcoming divisions of caste, sect, religion, province, and other differences," he said.

While talking to media, he said that during May 2025, all hostile designs that the enemy had long been plotting against the beloved homeland were decisively thwarted, sending a clear message to all those seeking to undermine the country.

"The unity shown during the conflict boosted people’s morale, overcame fear, and sent a clear message of victory," he said, adding, "No one can defeat the nation with this passion."

Minister hailed the role of leaders, especially Chief of Defense Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the success of “Marka-e-Haq” (the Battle for Truth), saying the political and military leadership remained united throughout the situation, ensuring stability, discipline and effective communication.

"Strong leadership helped maintain public confidence, reflecting the trust of people during tense moments," he said.

He also paid every personnel of the Pakistani forces, deployed to defend Pakistan.

He said that Pakistan’s armed forces and people stood shoulder to shoulder, delivering a firm and effective response to the enemy, thereby safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and dignity.

He reiterated that the firm response sent a clear message that Pakistan is fully capable of defending its territorial integrity against any threat.

He further said that Pakistan’s position during “Marka-e-Haq” received widespread international appreciation, as the country upheld restraint, responsibility, and peace while firmly exercising its right to self-defence.

“Marka-e-Haq stands as a symbol of courage and sacrifice, and a testament to Pakistan’s strength and commitment to peace with dignity,” he added.

Furthermore, he advised youth to work hard and play a positive role in promoting awareness, unity and national responsibility, saying that the future of the country lies in their hands.

While concluding, he said Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos strengthened national morale, enhanced international recognition of Pakistan’s strategic significance and reinforced the importance of unity during times of challenge.
