LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jul, 2025) The Punjab Information Technology board (PITB), in collaboration with the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), organized comprehensive training and consultative sessions on the e-Procurement System for government officers from the district, tehsil, and divisional levels of Sargodha and Gujrat Divisions.
These sessions were aimed at familiarizing officials with the modernized digital procurement system, enhance their technical capacities, and promote transparency, efficiency, and accessibility in public procurement processes across Punjab, says a press release issued here on Friday.
PITB's technical team provided hands-on training on various modules of the e-Procurement System and addressed participants’ queries while also collecting valuable feedback to improve future implementations.
In his message, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf stated, “Through digital reforms in public procurement, PITB is not only ensuring transparency but also enabling vendors from across the country to participate in online bidding with ease. Initiatives like these training sessions play a vital role in equipping government officials with the skills needed to effectively adopt and manage the new system.”
