Coordinator to Prime Minister Rana Ihsan Afzal Khan, on Tuesday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) August 5 protest call was a hollow announcement
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jul, 2025) Coordinator to Prime Minister Rana Ihsan Afzal Khan, on Tuesday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) August 5 protest call was a hollow announcement.
Talking to a private news channel, he said that PTI’s repeated attempts to mobilize the public have failed and the party no longer enjoys public support.
He said the party is now too preoccupied with internal divisions and conspiracies to lead any meaningful movement.
“They were once known for targeting other political parties and leaders with baseless accusations and propaganda. Today, they are entangled in internal conflicts,” he added.
He said that peaceful protest is a constitutional right, but any unlawful activity will be dealt with strictly.
“Everyone has the right to protest peacefully, but taking the law into one's own hands will not be tolerated. The law will take its own course if necessary,” he said.
