PU Awards 10 PhD Degrees

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jul, 2025) The Punjab University (PU) has awarded 10 PhD degrees to scholars after approval of their theses in various disciplines.

According to a PU spokesperson, Syed Shamsheer Abbas Ali Shah, son of Syed Talib Hussain Shah, was awarded a PhD degree in the subject of Zoology; Sun Bowen, son of Sun Zhilin in the subject of History; Sadia Manzoor, daughter of Manzoor Ahmed, in the subject of Molecular Biology; Usman Javed Iqbal, son of Javed Iqbal, in the subject of Public Health; Tabassam Razaq, son of Abdul Razaq, in the subject of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics; Fareeha Shahid, daughter of Ahmad Ali Shahid, in the subject of Education; Muhammad Zohaib Rafay, son of Muhammad Ashraf Javed, in the subject of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry); Adnan Ahmad Sarwar, son of Ghulam Sarwar, in the subject of Sociology; Muhammad Usman, son of Abdul Hameed, in the subject of Botany; and Zahra Naz, daughter of Rafiq Ahmad, was awarded degree in the subject of Biological Sciences (Biotechnology).
