Islamabad Offers Full Support For Flood Relief In Rawalpindi On Interior Minister’s Directive

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jul, 2025) On the special instructions of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad contacted the Commissioner of Rawalpindi and offered full support for ongoing rescue and relief operations in flood-affected areas.
The Chief Commissioner assured that the Islamabad administration will extend all possible assistance to the areas hit by recent rains and flooding.
This includes support in rescue operations, provision of food, clean drinking water, and timely medical aid.
He further stated that medical teams and ambulances will be deployed as needed and that additional relief workers, machinery, and essential supplies can be sent from Islamabad to the affected regions if required.
Islamabad will also assist in restoring transportation routes and access to areas across the Rawalpindi Division to ensure relief efforts reach all affected communities efficiently.
