Saddar Wah Police Arrest Vehicle Lifter

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Oct, 2025) Saddar Wah Police have arrested a notorious vehicle lifter involved in multiple theft cases, recovering Rs. 800,000 in cash obtained from the sale of stolen vehicles, the Rawalpindi Police spokesperson said on Sunday.
The suspect, identified as a habitual offender with a prior criminal record in vehicle theft, was apprehended following a targeted operation in the Saddar Wah area.
According to police, the individual was part of an organized gang that stole vehicles from Rawalpindi and sold them in Peshawar and other districts.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Potohar, Talha Waqar, stated that efforts are ongoing to apprehend the other members of the gang.
“We are committed to dismantling this gang and ensuring all culprits face justice,” he said, adding that the arrested suspect will be presented in court with solid evidence to secure a conviction.
