
'Training Imperative To Enhance Professional Skills, Promote Work Ethics'

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Oct, 2025) Assistant Director Training Regional Training Center (RTC) Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) Shahid Mahmood has said that training is the most effective means to polish human capabilities and strengthen professional ethics to enable the employees to perform their duties with honesty, dedication and efficiency.
He was addressing the concluding ceremony of a three-week departmental promotion training program held at the Regional Training Center (RTC) Faisalabad for Assistant Foremen and Helpers of the Transformer Reclamation Workshop.
He said that the training is imperative in enhancing technical competence among field staff and preparing them for promotion from Fitter to Assistant Foreman and from Helper to Fitter. The employees from all eight districts under FESCO’s jurisdiction participated in the program.
He said that the experience and technical skills gained through such training should be practically applied in day-to-day operations for betterment of the department and benefit of electricity consumers.
He urged the participants to discharge their duties with sincerity and commitment as islam places a great emphasis on earning a lawful livelihood. “If we follow these principles, we shall be rewarded both in this world and the hereafter”, he added.
Instructor Kibral Saeed Ibdal also addressed the ceremony and said that departmental training programs play a crucial role in improving work efficiency and service quality.
He advised the participants to continue performing their duties with dedication and professionalism.
One foreman and seven helpers successfully completed the promotion training. They included Ehsan Ali, Aamir Arif, Mahmood Ahmad, Muhammad Umar, Hafiz Muhammad Rasheed, Muhammad Naveed and Assistant Foreman Rana Zahid Rasheed. They all belong to the FESCO Transformer Reclamation Workshop Faisalabad, he added.
Later, Assistant Director Training Shahid Mahmood and Instructor Kibral Saeed Ibdal distributed certificates among the successful participants.
