Tree plantation inaugurated

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jul, 2025) A tree planting drive was inaugurated at the district Police Lines Complex here on Tuesday.

CPO Sahibzada Bilal Umar opened the campaign by planting a sampling at the Educators school, Police Lines Complex. SSP Operation Amara Shehzadi also planted a sapling.

DSP Headquarters, Incharge Friends of Police SI Farah Batool, and children of Empowerment Youth Pakistan Foundation took part in the drive. Children from Friends of Police also planted saplings.

The CPO said that environmental-friendly trees would be planted at police stations and offices. "Tree plantation is imperative to control environmental pollution as trees are ongoing charity and a national responsibility.

It is the duty of every citizen to plant their share of trees," he added.
