Two Women Held For Illegal Arms Possession, Hoax Call

LODHRAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jul, 2025) The Sadar police have arrested two women in separate operations involving illegal possession of firearms and hoax call.

In the first operation, police raided a location based on a tip-off and apprehended a woman identified as Khan Bibi. During the search, police recovered a 12-bore carbine and two bullets, which the suspect had concealed inside a bundle of clothes.

A case has been registered against her and further investigation launched.

In a separate incident, a woman named Farzana Bibi was taken into custody for making hoax call to the police emergency helpline (15), claiming that a firing incident had taken place. During interrogation, it was revealed that the issue was about a minor dispute and no actual firing had occurred. Local residents also confirmed that there was no such incident. A case has been registered against her.
