A 24-year-old woman lost her life on Tuesday in a road accident near old Bhalwal bypass chowk after her scooty was hit by a speeding vehicle, Rescue 1122 sources said

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) A 24-year-old woman lost her life on Tuesday in a road accident near old Bhalwal bypass chowk after her scooty was hit by a speeding vehicle, Rescue 1122 sources said.

The victim, identified as Momina Yousuf, wife of Arbab and a resident of Mukhtar Colony Bhalwal, was crossing the road when a fast-moving car collided with her scooty.

The impact of the collision resulted in a severe head injury to the woman, which proved fatal on the spot.

The Rescue teams reached the site immediately and, upon the request of the bereaved family, shifted the body to a nearby hospital for the completion of necessary legal formalities.

Bhalwal police initiated an investigation into the incident.
