
Female Sports Gala Abbottabad 2025 Kicks Off With Colorful Opening Ceremony

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Oct, 2025) In collaboration with the Regional Sports Office Abbottabad, the District Administration Abbottabad on Friday organized a colorful opening ceremony of the Female Sports Gala Abbottabad 2025 at Kunj Ground on Thursday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance and Planning) Azki Fatima graced the event as the chief guest. The opening ceremony featured impressive displays of athletics and archery, while a total of 14 different sports competitions were held during the gala.
These include cricket, athletics, badminton, basketball, volleyball, hockey, squash, table tennis, judo, taekwondo, karate, gymnastics, archery, and lacrosse.
At the ceremony, ADC Azki Fatima and Female Sports Officer Ahmed Zaman distributed medals and cash prizes among the winning participants.
The gala will continue from October 16 to 21, 2025, at various sports venues across Abbottabad, aiming to provide a platform for female athletes to showcase their talent and promote a culture of positive and healthy engagement among women.
