Tokyo Shares Open Down Ahead Of Yellen Speech

TOKYO, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -26th Augst,2016) - Tokyo shares opened down on Friday as global investors awaited a key speech from Federal Reserve boss Janet Yellen. The benchmark Nikkei 225 index slipped 0.40 percent, or 65.42 points, to 16,490.53 in opening trading, while the broader Topix index of all first-section shares was off 0.43 percent, or 5.60 points, at 1,298.67.
