LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Oct, 2025) Convener of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Regional Committee on Food, Shahid Imran, said on Sunday that the UAE private sector had shown keen interest in collaborating and forming joint ventures with Pakistani counterparts in the rapidly growing food processing industry, particularly in the snacks segment.
According to a message received here from Dubai, a delegation of Pakistani food exporters is currently on a business tour of the UAE to explore export opportunities and potential investments. During business interactions and investment meetings, UAE investors acknowledged Pakistan’s vast potential for producing high-quality food products owing to its strong agricultural base, competitive workforce, and growing processing capacity.
Pakistani exporters said such partnerships would not only boost exports but also create employment opportunities and further strengthen bilateral economic relations.
The collaboration is expected to pave the way for establishing modern snack processing units and distribution networks across the UAE, ensuring a consistent supply of top-quality Pakistani food products.
Both sides agreed that continued engagement through trade exhibitions, investment forums, and business-to-business meetings would further deepen cooperation and unlock the full potential of the food processing sector.
UAE entrepreneurs also noted that joint ventures with Pakistani companies could help meet the increasing demand for diverse and affordable snack products in the Gulf region, while promoting technology transfer, packaging innovation, and halal certification collaboration to enhance global competitiveness.
