
Applications Sought For Artists Support Fund

The Punjab Information and Culture Department has sought applications from artists for the Artist Support Fund 2025-26
RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jul, 2025) The Punjab Information and Culture Department has sought applications from artists for the Artist Support Fund 2025-26 .
Artists from across the province belonging to the fields of film, tv, radio, theater, music, dance, painting, calligraphy, sculpture, technical departments, editors, sound recorders, lightsmen, cameramen, stuntmen and make-up artists can apply for the Fund announced by the government for their socio-economic patronage.
This was stated by Punjab Arts Council (PAC) Rawalpindi Director Muhammad Shakoor while giving details regarding the Artist Support Fund.
He said that the eligibility for the Artist Support Fund was 25 years of experience, with less than 35,000 monthly income.
Moreover, the male artists should be at least 50 years old, and females should be at least 45 years old, while there was no age and experience restriction for the disabled artists, he added.
The PAC director further said the applications could be submitted till August 11, 2025. Only those artists who would apply fresh as a result of the newspaper advertisement would be eligible for stipend/financial assistance in the financial year 2025-26, he added.
The Support Fund forms, he said, could be obtained from the offices of respective art councils, and could also be downloaded from the website www.icd.punjab.gov.pk of the Information and Culture Department, the website www.pac.punjab.gov.pk of the Punjab Council of the Arts and the website www.lac.punjab.gov.pk of of the Lahore Arts Council.
