
CDA Chairman Wants Timely Completion Of Development Projects

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2025) Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa reviewed the pace and progress of ongoing development projects across the Federal capital.
Chairing the meeting at CDA, Randhawa focused on accelerating infrastructure development and improving service delivery in various sectors of the city.
Chairman Randhawa underscored the urgency of fast-tracking construction work, particularly on key roads, sewage and drainage systems, and urban facilities. “All available resources must be utilized to upgrade Islamabad’s infrastructure to modern standards,” he directed.
He emphasized that transparency, quality, and adherence to deadlines are non-negotiable aspects of every project.
To this end, he ordered the strengthening of monitoring mechanisms across all development initiatives.
Highlighting key upcoming ventures, Chairman Randhawa called for swift operationalization of the CDA’s Parking Plaza in Blue Area, renovation of the iconic Melody Food Street, and early completion of a new food court in Blue Area.
He also instructed authorities to conduct regular progress reviews to address any bottlenecks proactively.
Reaffirming his vision, Randhawa stated that transforming Islamabad into a model city remains CDA’s top priority.
He urged all CDA Wings to work with complete coordination, placing citizen welfare and sustainable urban planning at the heart of every effort.
