ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Jul, 2025) An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday rejected the request to revoke the declared status of Ali Amin Gandapur in the case of protesting against the disqualification of the founder PTI and maintained his arrest warrant.
ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Sapra ordered the Islamabad Police to arrest Ali Amin Gandapur, however, if there is any order from the Peshawar High Court, it should also be implemented.
It should be noted that a case has been registered against Chief Minister Khyber Ali Amin Gandapur and other PTI leaders at the Industrial Area police station.
The accused are alleged of violent protesting in Islamabad after the disqualification of the founding chairman PTI.
During the hearing, PTI leader Faisal Javed Khan and other accused appeared in the court. The court adjourned the hearing on the request of the lawyers and fixed the next hearing for August 6. The court ruled that the arrest orders of Ali Amin Gandapur will continue in his absence, while the court has directed the police to take action as per the legal requirements.
