By elections in five constituencies of Faisalabad and Sahiwal will be held on November 23.
ISLAMABAD: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Oct,20, 2025) The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued a new schedule for by-elections in five Constituencies of Faisalabad and Sahiwal.
According to the spokesperson of the Provincial Election Commissioner Punjab, polling will be held in NA-96, NA-104, NA-143, PP-98, and PP-203.
The last date for filing appeals against returning officers’ decisions is October 24, while the Appellate Tribunals will decide the appeals by October 31. The revised list of candidates will be published on November 1, and the last date for withdrawal of candidature is November 3. Election symbols will be allotted on November 4, and polling will take place on November 23, 2025.
The ECP stated that the schedule was issued under the Election Act 2017 and directed authorities to ensure strict compliance with the code of conduct.
