Four Held In Police Crackdown, Arms Recovered

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jul, 2025) Police in Sarai Alamgir Circle continued operations against drug peddlers and illegal arms holders, arresting four suspects and recovering 20 litre of liquor and two 30-bore pistols.

The crackdown was conducted under the crime free Punjab vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, supervised by DSP Sarai Alamgir Circle Dr. Mumtaz Ahmad Maken.

SHO Sarai Alamgir Saddar Police Station, Ahmad Faraz Tarar, arrested two suspects during separate raids. A 30-bore pistol was recovered from Zubair Shabbir, while 10 litre of liquor were seized from Tauseef Gul.In a similar operation, SHO Bolani Police Station, Khalid Mahmood, arrested two more suspects.

Police recovered 10 litre of liquor from Shahid Khalil and a 30-bore pistol from Safeer Ayub. Cases have been registered against the accused, and further investigation is underway.
