Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi Pays Tribute To Sacrifices Of Police Martyrs, Visits Their Residences

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday visited Wanda Mudat, Wanda Lali, Shah Khel, and Rangpur villages in Dera Ismail Khan district to offer condolences to the families of police personnel who embraced martyrdom in the recent terrorist attack on the Police Training School (PTS), Ratta Kulach
DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Oct, 2025) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday visited Wanda Mudat, Wanda Lali, Shah Khel, and Rangpur villages in Dera Ismail Khan district to offer condolences to the families of police personnel who embraced martyrdom in the recent terrorist attack on the Police Training School (PTS), Ratta Kulachi.
In the incident, seven policemen embraced martyrdom while 13 others were injured when security forces successfully repelled a major terrorist attack on the training school late Friday night, killing six terrorists during a joint counter-operation.
During the visits, the governor met with the families of the martyred policemen, offered Fateha, and expressed heartfelt condolences and prayers. He said that the police martyrs were the pride of the nation and their supreme sacrifices for the protection of the motherland would always be remembered with great respect.
Governor Kundi said that visiting the homes of these brave sons was both his moral and national responsibility, as they had laid down their lives in the line of duty for peace and security.
The governor visited the residences of Shaheed Mudassir and Shaheed Ismatullah in Wanda Mudat, Shaheed Daniyal in Wanda Lali, and Shaheed Muhammad Farhan in Shah Khel, where he met the bereaved families, relatives, and local residents, expressing solidarity and sharing their grief.
He said that terrorists and their facilitators were enemies of islam and Pakistan and would ultimately face a humiliating defeat. “We are proud of our security forces who are rendering great sacrifices to eliminate terrorism and protect the lives of the people,” he added, reaffirming that the government and the people will always stand with the families of the martyrs.
Later, the governor also visited Rangpur village to meet the family of Shaheed Anwar Baloch, who was martyred in the same attack. He met the martyr’s father, Abdullah Baloch, and other family members, offered Fateha, and prayed for the elevation of the martyr’s ranks.
Speaking on the occasion, the governor said that the blood of those who sacrificed their lives in the defense of the homeland would never go in vain. He said the sacrifices and role of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police in the war against terrorism were well-recognized and a source of pride for the people of the province.
He reaffirmed that the government stands firmly with the families of the martyrs and remains committed to supporting them in every possible way.
Pakistan Peoples Party leaders Mubashir Khan Kundi, Syed Ghazanfar Shah, and Jalal Khan also accompanied the governor during the visits.
