KP ACE Makes Breakthrough In Driving License Scam

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jul, 2025) Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has made a breakthrough in the bogus international driving license scam and arrested Assistant Director (AD) IT Mujahid Khan on Friday.

It is the second arrest in the scam, as a Computer Operator (CO) Murad, who was nominated in the FIR was already under the custody.

The arrest of the Assistant Director was made possible after getting formal approval of the Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in this regard.

In light of the investigation from the arrested alleged accused, the Anti-Corruption Establishment has further expanded the circle of investigation and further arrests and revelations could not be ruled out.

It has a worth to mention here that Anti-Corruption Establishment Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in its inquiry report has so far held the Assistant Director IT Mujahid and Computer Operator Murad of the Transport Department responsible for the scam.
