
Paharpur Assistant Commissioner Holds Open Court In View Of Monsoon Rains

Dera Ismail Khan, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jul, 2025) In line with the public agenda of the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, an open court was held at the Bandkorai Hospital by Assistant Commissioner Paharpur Dr. Hamid Sadeeq to address public concerns related to the ongoing monsoon and potential flood-related issues.
The event was attended by the heads of all concerned departments. During the session, several public complaints were heard, particularly regarding drainage and sanitation issues. On-the-spot instructions were issued to the relevant departments to take immediate action.
The Assistant Commissioner directed all departments to complete the necessary actions within seven days and submit a compliance report accordingly.
Clear instructions were also given by the local administration to ensure timely resolution of public grievances, stressing that any negligence in this regard would not be tolerated.
The initiative is part of the provincial government's proactive approach to ensure public safety and preparedness during the monsoon season.
