ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jul, 2025) Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, on Monday expressed serious concerns over the province’s worsening law and order situation.
Talking to a private news channel, he said that particularly in southern districts like D.I. Khan, Bannu, and Lakki Marwat, the situation is more critical.
He blamed both Federal and provincial governments for lacking coordination and urgency regarding the matter.
He questioned the KP government's seriousness in equipping the police and handling militancy, citing inadequate resources despite receiving significant NFC funds.
Kundi also criticized the over-reliance on the military in civilian matters and called for better-trained, well-equipped police forces.
He emphasized that without a unified policy and border control, counter terrorism efforts will remain ineffective.
