
KUJ Delegation Calls On Sharjeel Memon

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jul, 2025) A delegation of the Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) called on Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon here on Monday
KUJ President Tahir Hussain Khan and other office bearers were also present on the occasion.
The delegation of journalists invited senior minister and provincial minister for Information, Transport, and Mass Transit, Sharjeel Inam Memon, to attend the Karachi Union of Journalists’ Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The three-day celebrations will be held at Khaliq Dina Hall, Karachi.
Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon assured the KUJ delegation of the Sindh government’s full support for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of KUJ.
He stated that journalism and democracy are inseparable, and the PPP-led Sindh government has always taken concrete steps to promote free and independent journalism.
Memon said that the Sindh government has been taking all possible measures to address the issues faced by journalists. He added that the sacrifices of the journalist community for democracy are historic and unforgettable, and the Sindh government considers the welfare of journalists a top priority.
He also briefed the delegation on the ongoing projects in health, transport, energy, and housing, stating that the benefits of the Sindh government’s initiatives in various sectors are reaching the people.
The delegation of journalists appreciated the development projects of the Sindh government and noted that its initiatives are bringing tangible relief to the people.
