ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, Engineer Amir Muqam Tuesday strongly criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government over its announcement of a strike, terming the move a “farce drama” aimed at diverting public attention from governance issues.
In a statement, the President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz KP said that the provincial government was attempting to shift focus away from its poor performance by engaging itself in political protest demonstrations.

He also praised the country’s defense leadership. He said that those who seek to politicize national achievements would not be succeed int this regard, asserting that the public now values development, stability, and tangible performance over political rhetoric.
