
People Suffering Hardships Due Power Supply's Suspension For Last 24 Hours

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jul, 2025) The people are facing hardships as the electricity supply has been suspended in various areas of the district due to explosions of transformers after heavy rains on Thursday morning.
The electricity in the village had been suspended for the last 24 hours after heavy rain, Haji Gulam Ali Numberdar, a resident of Moza, Thatha Hakiman, Tehsil, Sahiwal, told APP, adding that the concerned FESCO officials had been informed in this regard.
The officials were of the view that transformers had been dysfunctional in other areas due to heavy rains, adding that they were unable to restore the power supply. The residents claimed that the officials said they could repair the transformers privately.
When contacted, Superintendent Engineer (SE) Abrar Sargodha replied via message that the issue had been noticed.
