MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Jul, 2025) Driving schools operated under the Regional Police Office (RPO) Multan have recorded their highest-ever monthly intake this summer, with 233 new enrollments in just one month — the largest since the programme began.
According to official data released on Wednesday, a total of 2,313 citizens have registered with police-run driving schools so far this year, with over 60pc of them being women — a development hailed as a major step toward women’s empowerment and increased civic engagement.
RPO Capt (retd) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry attributed the surge to the department’s focus on public-oriented, transparent, and accessible services. He stated that ensuring safety, empowerment, and convenience for the public remains the core mission of the police.
