WAH CANTT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jul, 2025) The Punjab Environment Protection Agency (EPA) has taken strong action against environmental pollution by demolishing three illegal pyrolysis plants in Taxila. In this context, a significant operation was initiated on Sunday to remove the required infrastructure and seize operational supplies.
Despite previous demolitions, the structural remains of the plants posed ongoing environmental and safety risks. The EPA officials confirmed that the recent operation involved the complete destruction of the remaining structures to prevent these illegal facilities from being revived. The confiscated material has been taken into custody for further legal action.
