Sports Minister Directs To Organize Grand Sports Festival

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jul, 2025) Sindh Government and Provincial Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Muhammad Bux Khan Mahar has directed to organize a grand Sports Festival at Shaheed Benazirabad, under the supervision of Provincial Secretary Munawar Ali Mahesar, Director Sports Sindh Dr. Asad Ishaq, and the District Sports Office Shaheed Benazirabad.

The festival is aimed at celebrating the success of “Battle for Truth” (Operation Baniyan Marsous) and enhancing the spirit of Independence Day. As part of this initiative, Divisional-level competitions in Shooting Ball, Badminton, Wanjh Watti, and Kodi Kodi will be held in Shaheed Benazirabad from August 1 to August 4, 2025.

District Sports Officer Abdul Rahim Rajput said that players will be awarded shirts, trophies, medals, and certificates. He disclosed that full preparations for the festival are already underway.

On the directives of the Sindh Government, similar sports competitions are being organized across the province from August 1 to August 14, 2025, with various events scheduled in each division and district.
