HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2025) Senior journalist and former Bureau Chief of Dawn Newspaper in Hyderabad Azizullah Malik passed away last night after a prolonged illness. He was also known as a mentor to many journalists of Hyderabad.

His funeral prayers were held in Latifabad Unit No.

8 and he was laid to rest at the Cantt Graveyard. A large number of people attended the funeral including Mayor Hyderabad Kashif Shoro, PPP leader Aajiz Dhamrah, Deputy Commissioner Zain-ul-Abideen Memon, Divisional Director of Information Shahzad Shaikh, senior journalists, political and social figures, representatives of civil society, lawyers, traders, doctors, friends and local residents.
