ACP Karachi Musicians Shine at “Ubumuntu arts festival 2025” in Rwanda

Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi made a remarkable mark at the “Ubumuntu Arts Festival 2025” held in Rwanda, where directors and musicians from Arts Council Music Academy represented Pakistan with powerful performances that captivated international audiences

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jul, 2025) Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi made a remarkable mark at the “Ubumuntu Arts Festival 2025” held in Rwanda, where directors and musicians from Arts Council Music academy represented Pakistan with powerful performances that captivated international audiences.

According to a press release issued by the ACP Karachi, Renowned Pakistani artists, including Arman Rahim, Ahsan Bari, Jahanzeb Shah (Gizri), Mustafa Baloch, and Umesh Ladhan, delivered a dramatic musical performance titled “The Loudest Whisper”. Their act poignantly addressed the global silence over the massacre of innocent people in regions include Rawand. The performance emphasized the world's disturbing indifference to such atrocities and was met with widespread acclaim at the international festival.

The dramatic musical presentation, curated by the cultural troupe of the Arts Council, was praised for its emotional depth and global relevance, using music as a universal language to advocate for peace and cultural harmony.

The Ubumuntu Arts Festival 2025 hosted participants from over 12 countries, including the USA, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Congo, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, France, the Netherlands, DRC, Burundi, Rwanda, Nepal, and Zimbabwe.

Representing Pakistan at the event were Music Academy Director and acclaimed vocalist Arman Rahim, singer Ahsan Bari, Jahanzeb Ali Shah (Gizri), Mustafa Baloch, and Deputy Director of academies Umesh Ladhani.

Their participation highlighted Pakistan's commitment to using the arts to foster cross-cultural dialogue and mutual understanding through the universal language of music.
