
Pakistan Kabaddi Team Departs For 3rd Asian Youth Games

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Oct, 2025) Pakistan’s Kabaddi team has left for Bahrain to participate in the 3rd Asian Youth Games, taking place from October 22 to 31.
A 53-member Pakistan contingent will feature in seven disciplines of the coveted event, including athletics, badminton, kabaddi, ju-jitsu, taekwondo, volleyball and wrestling, said a press release.
Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister Youth Programme, will serve as Chef de Mission for Pakistan’s contingent.
The Kabaddi squad, consisting of 15 members including the team manager, features: Amjad Ali Sajid (Team Manager/Coach), Rahat Maqsood Ali, Gul Sher Ali, Adeel Ahmad, Ahmad Hammad, Muhammad Imran, Muhammad Awais, Ali Hassan, Muhammad Abdullah, Muhammad Muqeeb, Hisham, Shah Zaib, Usman Ali, Muhammad Ali, Syed Hamza Shah and Muhammad Awais.
In the departure sequence: the volleyball team will exit Islamabad on Friday. Both the athletics and taekwondo teams will leave on October 21, from Lahore and Islamabad.
The badminton squad is slated to depart on October 25 and wrestling team on October 26 from Lahore; and the Ju-Jitsu team will depart from Karachi on October 27.
