UK Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit draft deal is a "huge and damaging failure," UK Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said on Thursday, calling for immediate withdrawal from the "half-baked" draft agreement.
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 15th November, 2018) UK Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit draft deal is a "huge and damaging failure," UK Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said on Thursday, calling for immediate withdrawal from the "half-baked" draft agreement.
"The withdrawal agreement and the outline political declaration represent a huge and damaging failure. After two years of bungled negotiations, the government has produced a botched deal that breaches the prime minister's own red lines," Corbyn said at a meeting in the House of Commons.
"The government must now withdraw this half-baked deal, which is clear does not have the backing of the cabinet, the parliament or the country as a whole," he added.
