President Xi Sends Congratulatory Letter To Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting

BEIJING, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jul, 2025) Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday sent a congratulatory letter to the Ministerial Meeting of the Global Civilizations Dialogue being held in Beijing on July 10 and 11 under the theme of "Safeguarding Diversity of Human Civilizations for World Peace and Development."

Xi emphasized that the prosperity of civilization and the progress of mankind are inseparable from the exchange and mutual learning of civilizations.

With the current international situation undergoing complex changes, there is a growing need for humanity to let dialogue transcend estrangement and mutual learning supersede clashes.

China is ready to work with all countries to uphold the principles of equality, mutual learning, dialogue and inclusiveness among civilizations, practice the Global Civilization Initiative, and promote the building of a global network for dialogue and cooperation among civilizations to inject new impetus into the progress of human civilization and world peace and development, he said.

The Chinese president also expressed his hope that participants will have in-depth exchanges, build consensus, and contribute wisdom and strength to promoting mutual understanding and friendship among people of all countries and the harmonious coexistence of different civilizations.

Hosted by the Publicity Department and the International Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, the two-day event has attracted over 600 guests from 140 countries and regions.
