ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2019 ) :Spokesperson to Prime Minister, Nadeem Afzal Chan Tuesday said every corrupt politician including top bigwigs had to give answer of corruption as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government was committed for making corruption-free Pakistan.
The corruption would not be tolerated and that transparency and rule of law would prevail in Naya Pakistan , he said while talking to private news channel .
Opposition raising questions towards Imran Khan should themselves give answer to public about their own involvement in record corruption cases, he criticized.
"After Quaid-e-Azam we have a leader who is sincere, honest, dedicated and handwork. No one can point out Imran Khan that he is involved in corruption", he added.
"No corrupt person will be let go," he said, adding, present government was elected by the nation on the promise that PTI will "put the corrupt people in jails".
The country had no future until and unless corruption was rooted out, he added.
Nadeem Afzal said reshuffling in the cabinet was a good step of the Prime Minister Imran Khan after reviewing the performance and it was the right of the Prim minister Imran Khan to bring change within the cabinet.
He also hoped that the reshuffling in the cabinet would have positive impact on overall situation in the country.
Replying to a Question , he said former finance minister Asad Umar had no corruption charges and he did hard work for improving economic situation .
He said the PTI government, under dynamic leadership of Imran Khan was committed to streamline the system as national economy was improving.
Pakistan would rise under the leadership of Imran Khan in the coming months, he added.
"PTI has an agenda for efficient, transparent and free corruption governance and will weed out corruption because the poor is the end victim of corruption and injustices. Prime Minister is making sincere efforts to bring the culprits into Justice who have been involved in the menace of corruption," he said.
