
Four Development Schemes Approved

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jul, 2025) The 7th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) for the fiscal year 2025–26, here Wednesday approved four development schemes and one position paper with a cumulative estimated cost of Rs. 26,779.214 million.
Chaired by Planning & Development board Punjab's Chairman Dr Naeem Rauf, the meeting approved following development schemes and position paper:
1. Specialized Medical Equipment for Jinnah Institute of Cardiology, Lahore (Revised) Estimated Cost: Rs. 7,701.010 million
2. Specialized Medical Equipment for Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology, Sargodha (Revised) Estimated Cost: Rs.
3,836.479 million
3. Rehabilitation/Renovation of Hospitals under the Specialized Healthcare & Medical education Department through Health Councils/Traditional Mode (Revised) Estimated Cost: Rs. 6,847.717 million
4. Upgradation of DHQ Hospital, District Hafizabad (Revised) Estimated Cost: Rs. 8,394.008 million
5. Renovation/Rehabilitation of MPDD and PIMPD Complexes (Position Paper for Vehicle Approval)
The meeting was attended by P&D Board Secretary Rafaqat Ali, Chief Economist Masood Anwar, the Board members and other senior officers.
